FAQ

I DID NOT STUDY BUSINESS SUBJECTS FOR MY LEAVING CERT. DOES THIS MATTER?

Studying a business related subject for the leaving cert will be an advantage if applying for a business course in CIT but it is not essential. The first year is spent learning about business in general so it is not an entry requirement to any of the business courses here in CIT.

CAN I EXPECT TO GAIN ANY WORK EXPERIENCE OPPORTUNITIES?

Work experience within the school of business only occurs in the third year of business administration. In other courses you work with live cases to give you the invaluable experience of dealing with real business scenarios.

I WOULD LIKE TO CONTINUE ONTO OTHER STUDIES WHEN I GRADUATE. IS THIS POSSIBLE?

Yes, here in CIT we offer a wide range of postgraduate programmes. These programmes are a mix of research and taught masters along with the several professional accountancy programmes for individuals in that particular field.
